Alpha

What is Alpha?

Alpha is a series of sessions exploring the basics of the Christian faith.

Who is it for?

Alpha is for anyone because it helps to create a space for encounter. Guests explore life, faith, and meaning in an open and welcoming environment.

How does it work?

Alpha is a 10-week course for churches use to create a space and a culture where people are excited to bring their friends for a conversation about Jesus.

Everyone has questions.

Alpha is a space for encounter.

Last year alone, more than 6,500 people in Ireland experienced Alpha, in addition to millions more in over 100 countries around the globe.

Alpha is a tool for the church to revitalise a culture of prayer, hospitality, and mission.

What does a session look like?

Hospitality

Whether in person over a meal or virtually with a cup of tea, all sessions start with a time to connect, relax, and build friendships. Eating food together creates space for people to connect and share life on a deeper level.
