Print

Once you’ve downloaded the series materials, print and hand out a discussion guide for each person (including yourself).

Pray

Consider praying for the members of your small group ahead of the sessions.

  • The series is designed for church small groups who want to take time to think about how they could share their faith with friends, colleagues and neighbours.

  • The aim of this series is to provoke thoughts, conversation, courage and prayer around sharing your faith. There is not a one-size-fits-all approach to sharing faith. Rather than give people a formula, we hope to spark re-imagination around this topic, and invite each person to take a step in the direction of reaching out to others. Whether the step feels big or small, it is exciting to join together with what God is already doing all around us.

  • It has been designed to spark conversation, courage, prayer and action leading up to a moment of invitation in your church (ex. Running it 4 weeks before your Alpha launch, or leading up to a Christmas or Easter service).

  • We’ve heard some positive experiences from church leaders across the world who have run the series in these ways:

    • As an after-Alpha resource for Alpha guests and other leaders who are interested in taking the next step and keeping the conversation going

    • As a Sunday sermon series (4 weeks) that could lead into an Alpha launch or another moment of invitation

    • To go alongside a sermon series on sharing faith / evangelisation (run in small groups simultaneously alongside Sunday services)

    • Ran as a weekend workshop at your church instead of a 4-week series

  • July 2024. The series was updated with new stories of invitation and subtitled versions of each episode. We recommend downloading the latest version even if you have run the series before.
