What is Alpha?
At Alpha, we believe that the guest deserves the best. So we want you to have the best time, every time, during Alpha. That means good food, great conversation and plenty of time to talk about the big questions you have on your mind.

Is Alpha for me?
Alpha is for everyone! Alpha is ideal for anyone who is curious about whether there’s more to life than work, nights out, and takeaways. Alpha explores the big questions of life and spirituality from a fresh, honest perspective.
But I’m not sure what I believe. Am I still welcome?
Alpha is a place where everyone is welcome, no matter what you believe. There’s no pressure to say anything in the small group. And at any point, if you think Alpha isn’t for you, that’s not a problem. There’s no pressure, no follow up and no charge.
Why should I give Alpha a try?
We all have questions as we experience the highs and lows of life. Alpha offers a safe, open, welcoming space where you can meet other people wrestling with the big questions of life and form deep friendships as you journey together. And did we mention there's free food?!
What can I expect when I show up?
Whether in person or online, each Alpha offers a time of connection to build relationships, a talk, and then space for conversation about the content of each talk. In that discussion, you can share what you think—as much or as little as you want—and nothing is off limits. A typical Alpha session runs for an hour and a half.
It works like this:
Every Alpha starts with a time of connection. Connecting with others is what we were made for. All sessions start with a time to connect and build friendships over food, eliminating awkwardness and creating space for important conversations.
Then, Alpha’s content explores the big questions we all ask, and guests from any background can unpack the basics of the Christian faith. Bring your questions, you’ll find you’re not alone.
Finally, there is conversation. Guests on Alpha share that their small group discussions are hands-down the best part of the experience. No questions are off limits and there’s nothing you can’t say (really!)
